Janeen Shenay Reid, of Salisbury, graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, S.C., on May 10, 2014, with a Master of Social Work Degree. Janeen received her Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Elizabeth City State University in 2006.
She is the daughter of Velveeta Reid-Hairston, (the late Aaron Reid) and Tommy H. Hairston, Sr. She is employed with the Rowan County Department of Social Services as a Social Worker III in Foster Care.
She is a member of the Salisbury-Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
