Corriher ~ Olson

Jimmy and Betty Corriher of China Grove are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Vanessa Ann Corriher of China Grove, to Daniel Louis Olson, of Tyler, Texas.
Vanessa is the granddaughter of the late Vance and Ruby Corriher of China Grove and the late Wert and Beula Carter of Crumpler. A 1998 graduate of South Rowan High School and 2002 graduate of North Carolina State University, she received a Master degree and Ph.D. in Animal Science from the University of Georgia. Vanessa is an Assistant Professor and Forage Extension Specialist at Texas A&M University.
Daniel is the son of Dan and Deanna Olson of Tyler, Texas, and the grandson of the late Oscar and Dorothy Olson of Dallas, Texas, and the late Lawrence and Frances Dalrymple of Atlanta, Texas. A 1990 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and 1995 graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, he received a MA in Public Administration from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. Daniel is the Tyler Ford Commercial Account Manager.
The couple will marry Sept. 29 at The Carter Farm in Crumpler.
