Shirley 50th Anniversary

Robert Haynes Shirley and Linda Rouse Shirley of Salisbury are celebrating their 50th anniversary today, July 8, 2012, at a family cookout at the home of their son and his wife, Jeffrey and Kristina Shirley.
The Shirleys were married July 8, 1962, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Salisbury.
Robert retired from General Electric, and Linda retired from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.
They have two sons, Jeffrey and wife Kristina Shirley and Todd and wife Ashli Shirley. They also have four grandchildren, Tatum, Tori, Tilly and Zane.
The Shirleys will celebrate later with a trip to Hawaii.
