Victim identified in Concord homicide

CONCORD — Authorities have identified a man found shot to death near U.S. 601 this morning.
Concord Police said Pao Yang, 37, of Rainbow Drive in Kannapolis was found dead in a vehicle at 2835 Armentrout Drive about 5 a.m.
Officers are still searching for the killer and have issued warrants for Chong Vue Lo, 35, of 1240 Hollywood Terrace in Albemarle.
Police said the shooting is the result of an ongoing domestic situation.
Lo is believed to be driving a champagne-colored 2006 Kia minivan with license plate XSM-6589, and is believed to be armed, according to a press release.
Police ask anyone who sees the vehicle to call 911 about the location. They warn people not to approach or follow the minivan.
Law enforcement from Cabarrus and Stanly counties and Albemarle Police Department are assisting the investigation.
