The American Legion Harold B. Jarrett Post 342 of Salisbury sent nine delegates to 73rd Session of Tar Heel Boys State at Catawba College June 17-23.
The post is budgeted for five delegates each year, but had nine interested and qualified applicants. With the help of the Legion members and some donations from the public the post was able to send all qualified applicants.
