Thyatira scholarships
Each year Thyatira Presbyterian Church awards scholarships to members who are graduating from high school or who are current college students. The following scholarships are for the 2012-13:
Awarded were the Margaret Barber Scholarship, Morrison-Graham Scholarship, Evelyn Carrigan Scholarship, Stanley/Lucille Graham Scholarship, Richard Carrigan Scholarship, Sara Hall Jordan Scholarship, William Carrigan Scholarship, J. Floyd Menius Scholarship.
Recipients of awards are: Courtney Bell, Rowan-Cabarrus Community College; Cala Rae Cocca; Connor Edwards, N.C. State University; Jennie Graham, University of North Carolina at Charlotte; Andrea Lambert, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; Mary McCachren, University of North Carolina at Wilmington; Daniel Milam, NCSU; Madisyn Patterson, RCCC; Taylor Patterson, UNCC; Ada Joanne Sloop, Western Carolina; Logan Stamper, NCSU; Steven Wetmore, NCSU.
