KANNAPOLIS — The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two men, and are looking for a third, who investigators say sold prescription drugs to undercover officers.
Anthony Todd Christy, 42, of East 20th Street in Kannapolis, was arrested Tuesday and charged with one count of selling or delivering narcotics, one count of possession with intent to sell or deliver narcotics and one count of conspiracy to sell or deliver narcotics. Christy posted a $5,000 secured bond.
Deputies are still seeking Christy’s 37-year-old brother, Tommy Joe Christy, also a Kannapolis resident, who was charged in the same offenses. Anyone with information about Tommy Christy’s location is asked to contact the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
Travis Benjamin Freeze, 23, of Union Cemetery Road in Concord, was arrested Friday at the Rowan County Courthouse and charged with two counts of trafficking opium and one county of possession with intent to sell or deliver opium. Freeze was placed under a $45,000 secured bond at the Rowan County Detention Center.
The second Christy brother is charged in the same offenses as his older brother. The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office asked that any information about his location be forwarded to authorities.
