Dog sniffs suspicious item before it's declared safe

Salisbury Police blocked off Church Street beside the Salisbury Post building Thursday evening when a suspicious item was reported on the sidewalk. A Rowan County Sheriff’s Deputy brought in a K-9 to sniff it out — and it turned out to be a portion of a prosthetic device.
