Let’s Lend a Helping Hand’s first Tot to Teen Talent Show, held on Aug. 16 at the Civic Center, was hosted by comedian T. Ray Sanders.
Winners in the three age categories were:
Age 5-9
1st: Lauryn Alexander
2nd: Sari Lewin
3rd: Naisia Finger
Age 10-12
1st: Tineechi McCoy
2nd: Mohogany Koontz
3rd: Raheim Walker
Age 13-17
1st: Salisbury Drill Team
2nd: Riley Padgett
3rd: Adam Broyles
Also competing in the show were Robyn Rivers, Miles Sewell, Keshawn Stoner, Bryan Solomon, Christian Addison, Kelsey Melvin, Janiya Pemberton, Domanae Wilks and Betty Stewart. The ABC Mime Ministry provided entertainment between acts.
Judges were Talita McCain, Tiffany Miller, Diane Sanders and Karen Brown.
The second annual Tot to Teen Talent Show will be in March of 2013.
