Joseph Alvin and Marcia Snipes Carter of Salisbury celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their family. They were married June 9, 1963, at First United Methodist Church in Sylva.
Their children are Suzanne and husband John Storch of Kannapolis and Kevin and wife Robyn Carter of New York City. They have four amazing grandchildren.
They celebrated in Asheville at Al’s childhood home and at Grove Park Inn.
