Susan Kluttz a vice chair of Dems for McCrory

SALISBURY – Former Salisbury Mayor Susan Kluttz is among the leaders in Democrats for McCrory, a statewide coalition supporting Republican Pat McCrory for governor.
The coalition’s county leaders for Rowan are Regina Bradshaw and Ross McCanless.
Heading up Democrats for McCrory are two sitting Democratic representatives in the General Assembly, Rep. James Crawford of Granville-Vance and Rep. Dewey Hill, who represents Brunswick and Columbus counties, They will lead the statewide coalition and Democratic outreach efforts for the McCrory campaign.
A press release from the McCrory campaign quotes Kluttz:
“As a child growing up in a small town and as a former mayor of a big city, Pat McCrory understands the needs and challenges facing towns and cities across our state. I am confident he will be an outstanding governor.”
Kluttz is one of the coalition’s five co-chairs. Others are Clayton Mayor Jody McLeod, Benson Mayor Pro Tem Frederick Nelson, former Greenville Mayor Robert Parrott and William Dudley, former co-chair of Richard Moore’s 2008 bid for governor.
