Public forum Monday on contamination

SALISBURY — The city will host a public forum Monday night to hear about locations in Salisbury that people suspect could be contaminated.
The Public Forum for the Technical Assistance for Brownfields is set for 7 p.m. Monday in City Hall, 217 S. Main St.
City Council recently agreed to pursue a grant of up to $400,000 from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to determine whether the former Cannon Mills Plant No. 7 site is contaminated. The grant would assess other locations in Salisbury as well.
