The Dunbar School Alumni Association will sponsor a weekend of festivities.
There will be a gala at the Salisbury Civic Center on Martin Luther King Avenue at 7 p.m. Friday. This include catered dinner and live entertainment by A Moment’s Notice Band of Charlotte.
Three Dunbar alumni members will be inducted into the Dunbar Hall of Fame 2012. They are Douglas Holmes, William “Pete” Kennedy and John Krider Sr.
A picnic will follow from 1-5 p.m. Saturday at the Geneva Oglesby Recreation Center in Granite Quarry.
The Dunbar School Alumni Association provides scholarships for former Dunbar students, faculty and administrators and their descendants.
