SALISBURY – A TV documentary about Salisbury’s leadership in downtown revitalization will air at 8 p.m. Thanksgiving Day on WTVI PBS-Charlotte.
“Trail of History – Historic Salisbury” will highlight how one of the state’s first Main Street communities has become a leader in downtown revitalization.
Producers wrapped up shooting the program last week, including an interview with Randy Hemann, executive director for Downtown Salisbury Inc., and footage shot from a downtown roof.
The show will eventually be uploaded to YouTube.
As part of Central Piedmont Community College’s relaunch of the Charlotte public TV station, Thursday nights are dedicated to local programming, including “Trail of History,” “Charlotte Cooks,” “Great Ideas” and “Inside Jobs.”
