Cabarrus College of Health Sciences is hosting an open house for prospective students on Tuesday, Jan. 18 from 4:30 -6:30 p.m. Registration begins at 4 p.m.
A general information session will begin at 4:30 p.m. that will include an overview of programs offered, admissions requirements and financial aid opportunities. Representatives from admissions, financial aid, the registrar and faculty from each program will also be available throughout the open house to meet with prospective students. Tours of the College will be offered.
Cabarrus College offers associate degree programs in medical assistant, nursing, occupational therapy assistant, surgical technology and associate in science.
Baccalaureate completion programs are offered in health services leadership and management, medical imaging and nursing. Continuing education courses, including a state approved Nurse Aide I course, are also available.
To ensure consideration for the fall 2011 semester an application and all supporting materials should be submitted by March 1. Applications received and completes after March 1 will be reviewed on a space available basis.
