Gail Cauble Gurley, Archdale author, has a cookbook to be featured in the February issue of “Our State” magazine.
“Old South Comfort Food: Vintage Recipes From the 1930s-1940s” is a contemporary remake of a cookbook Gurley grew up with in Rowan County. There are legends, humor and inspiration from the women who influenced her as well as charming and sometimes mystery recipes. Gurley’s website www.scribesvalley.com.
