Using the theme “The Sweet Life in Historic Salisbury,” designers are preparing for the three-day Table Tops event, an annual fundraiser for the Historic Salisbury Foundation.
Fanciful, whimsical and elegant tables will fill the Salisbury Depot from Feb. 3 to 5 during the 15th annual Table Tops.
This year’s theme is La Dolce Vita — nel centro storico di Salisbury, translated as the Sweet Life in Historic Salisbury. Tables are set to interpret the theme or a theme of the designer’s choice.
Table names will include “Tavola di Toscana,” “Beach Getaway,” “Junkanoo,” “Royal Wedding,” “Evening in Monet’s Garden” and “Mother Goose & Friends.”
Table Tops offers creative ideas for dinner parties or decorative tables.
Table Tops will kickoff with a wine and appetizer preview party from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 3. The cost is $15 per person or $25 per couple.
The annual luncheon begins at noon Feb. 4. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m.
The cost for this event is $25 per person, which includes an “Out of the Box” lunch catered by The Sweetest Thing.
Both events require reservations by Jan. 26.
Then, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 5, the public is invited to view the tables. A $5 donation is suggested.
