Suspect arrested in Concord attempted murder case

A man was arrested this morning in Charlotte in connection with an attempted murder in Concord that occurred Nov. 19, 2010.
Ladrawde Edward Davis, 29, has been charged with the attempted murder of 37-year-old Keyonmokin Heath.
On the day of the murder, Davis and Heath were reportedly arguing in the parking lot of the Catawba Food Mart at 4550 Davidson Highway in Concord.
At some point, Heath attempted to escape from Davis by running into the convenience store. Davis allegedly shot Heath several times. Heat was seriously injured but survived the shooting.
The Concord and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Departments worked together to apprehend Davis.
