The marketing director for Fibrant, the city’s fledgling high-speed Internet business, has left his job.
Len Clark is no longer with the city of Salisbury, the Post confirmed today.
It’s not clear yet if Clark’s position was cut during city layoffs last week or if the city will hire another marketing director for Fibrant.
City Manager David Treme confirmed Tuesday night the city laid off employees last week but did not say how many.
The city is expected to issue a press release later today.
Fibrant competes with Time Warner Cable and other private companies to provide Internet, cable TV and phone services.
Fibrant, which began billing in December, has about 750 customers.
