The West Rowan Junior Civitans are hosting a Spring Fest for children with special needs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at the school, 8050 N.C. 801, Mt. Ulla.
Free lunch will be provided for the first 100 children. There were also be games, a petting zoo, sports demonstrations and a dunking booth.
The event is sponsored by Special Olympics, Project Unify and the Junior Civitans.
