How can you help for Earth Day? Students at Knollwood Elementary decorated grocery bags to tell the community about Earth Day. Earth Day is April 22 every year and to celebrate and educate, positive messages were drawn on the grocery bags. Reduce, reuse and recycle. Pick up trash.
Food Lion donated the paper grocery bags and then students were educated about Earth Day in the art room. The grocery bags will be delivered back to the Food Lion Store at 1460 S. Main St., China Grove, to be handed out to the customers.
Knollwood will also be getting involved in a Yes I Can recycling fundraiser campaign. Students will bring in aluminum cans to be recycled.
So do your part on Earth Day and every day and help make the world a better place to live.
