Kannapolis officials have released the official route the Donald Shue procession will take from Concord to Kannapolis Saturday for the noon ceremony at Veterans Park.
The route described in a Post article today was incorrect.
Here’s the route from downtown Concord to Kannapolis: Church Street North to Brookwood Avenue, turn left on Brookwood to Branchview Drive (NC 3), north on Branchview to Dale Earnhardt Boulevard, left on Earnhardt Boulevard to U.S. 29, turn right (north on US 29), north on 29 to Jackson Park Road, left on Jackson Park Road to Main Street.
