Spring Night Out draws crowd

Sweet treats, live music and humongous balloon hats were a hit with kids Friday at the Spring Night Out in downtown Salisbury.
Children love the monthly night-on-the-town events, and the May celebration was no exception with perfect weather and kid-friendly activities like bounce houses, trolley rides and face painting.
Many children enjoyed listening to music, and some even made their own at the Salisbury Symphony’s musical Petting Zone and during a performance by the North Rowan High School Show Choir.
Free and family-friendly, Spring Night Out, sponsored by Downtown Salisbury Inc., offered an enjoyable evening for the young as well as the young at heart.
