Walker Brooks Graduation

Walker David Brooks of Salisbury graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine May 7, 2011, with a degree of Doctor of Medicine.
A 2003 graduate of West Rowan High School, Walker received a Bachelor of Science  in Chemistry from UNC in 2007, graduating summa cum laude. While in undergrad studies, he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa in 2006 and was recipient of the Dr. Francis P. Venable Chemistry Medal in 2007 for an outstanding chemistry graduate.
In June, Walker will begin his residency in internal medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
He is the son of Ron and Glenda Brooks and the grandson of Aileen Brooks, all of Salisbury.
