Farm to Table — During this week-long camp, you will learn how agriculture impacts your life. Not only will you learn about agriculture through hands-on activities, you will also visit a farmer’s market, local growers and local grocery store. You will learn how the food you eat is grown, marketed and ends up on your table.
Participants will also be making their own snacks during the week and participate in taste-testing of different agricultural products. Bring a bag lunch each day.
• Date: June 27-July 1, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; cost: $40; grades 3-6. Class limit: 25.
Cloverbud Day Camp — Come and learn about the great outdoors. You will have fun learning about plants, animals and the environment. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, the class will meet at the Extension Office. On Wednesday, class will meet at Rockwater Farm. Snack will be provided. Wear closed-toe shoes on Wednesday.
• Date: July 11-14, 9 a.m.-noon; Cost: $20; grades: K-2. Class limit: 20.
Registration will be held Monday-Friday at the Cooperative Extension Office, 2727 Old Concord Road, Salisbury, between 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Registration closes on June 15.
