ROCKWELL — A Salisbury man is in jail, charged with three counts of indecent liberties with a child after authorities say he inappropriately touched the 7-year-old daughter of a family friend.
Adam Kristian Towell, 32, of 130 Venture Drive, was arrested this morning and given a $25,000 secured bond.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reported the mother of the victim came to the Sheriff’s Office May 5 to report the incidents, which happened on three separate occasions over the past month while Towell was babysitting.
Authorities said the mother reported that Towell was a trusted family friend.
