KANNAPOLIS — Mayor Bob Misenheimer has been hospitalized, but is recovering well from symptoms related to high blood pressure, a family member told the Post.
Reached by phone at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast today, Mary Lawton, Misenheimer’s daughter, said doctors were regulating his blood pressure.
“He’s doing great,” Lawton said.
She said Misenheimer wasn’t able to come to the phone at the time.
Misenheimer is currently serving his second term as mayor of Kannapolis.
