The Rowan-Salisbury Board of Education named Linda Johnson the new principal at China Grove Middle School today.
Johnson is currently the principal at Uwharrie Middle School.
She replaces James Davis, who is going to Knox Middle School. Davis is the Rowan-Salisbury Principal of the Year
Rodney Burton stepped down as principal of Knox earlier this year for personal reasons, less than two years after taking the reins in October 2009.
