Truex Smith Engagement

Debby and Edward Pietryk and Mark and Dawn Truex of Salisbury are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Caitlinn Mary Westlake Truex, to Brian Michael Smith, both of Cornelius.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Don and Mary Westlake and the late Spence Truex and Phyllis Tripp. A 2003 graduate of South Rowan High School, Caitlinn received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from East Carolina University in 2007. Employed by The More at Four Program with the Gaston County School System, she is currently working for a Birth to Kindergarten add-on at ECU.
The future groom is the son of Mike and Elaine Smith and the grandson of Helen and the late Vance Smith and the late Miriam and Jack Parrott. A 2001 graduate of South Rowan High School, Brian also studied at ECU. He is employed by DePuy Orthopedics.
The couple will marry Sept. 4 at Forsyth Park Fountain in Savannah, Ga.
