Handyman charged with larceny

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office has arrested and charged a Salisbury handyman with felony larceny.
Capt. John Sifford said Rose Mullis reported $7,000 stolen from a drawer at her Meadow Lane home June 10.
At the time of the incident, Mullis gave police a list of people who had been in and out of the house doing work.
After completing the investigation, Detective Christine Brown arrested Jason David Morris, 32, of 240 Crescent Heights Drive.
He was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $1,000 secured bond.
