Man shot at Civic Park apartments

SALISBURY — A 30-year-old Salisbury man was shot in both legs at his Civic Park apartment early Saturday morning.
When Salisbury Police arrived at 715 Hall St. about 1:20 a.m., they found Kevin Gerod Brown with gunshot wounds to his upper right and left legs.
Capt. Shelia Lingle said Brown told police that two men approached him saying that he owed them money. He described one shooter as a light-skinned black male wearing baggy jeans and a dark shirt and the other as a black male wearing baggy jeans, a black shirt and black shoes.
Brown was transported to Rowan Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released. Lingle said the extent of his injuries is unknown.
The incident is still under investigation.
