Comfort Keepers has three opportunities for holiday giving this season. Donations are being accepted at Comfort Keepers Monday – Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at 512 Klumac Road, Suite 9, as well as other locations listed below.
Operation Senior Christmas– Stop by the office and choose the name of a senior from the Operation Senior Christmas Tree. Many area seniors don’t have family to spend the holidays with, nor do they have the financial means to obtain basic items that many of us take for granted. Choose a senior’s name from our tree and donate the requested items to make their holiday brighter.
Help Homeless Veterans– Comfort Keepers is accepting clothing, coats, blankets, toiletries, etc., to help make the holidays more pleasant and warm for homeless veterans in the area. Donations accepted at the office as well as other Salisbury businesses: Penrod Medical Supplies, Bell Cleaners, Summersett Funeral Home, Dr Hennie’s Eye Care office, Thelma’s Soul Food Restaurant and Ellis Park Recreation Center; YMCA, Knox Computer Repair, in Concord Atty. Marjorie Brown’s office, Cabarrus County Parks & Recreation Senior Center and Cleveland Meal Site.
Feed Seniors Now!- Accepting non-perishable food donations at Comfort Keepers as well as the Salisbury YMCA. Food donations are given to area seniors at risk for hunger and malnutrition.
