Man accused of stealing video games

A 19-year-old Kannapolis man was arrested Sunday after authorities say he broke into a home and stole electronics.
According to a Magistrate’s Office report, Christopher David Franklin, 1305 Mt. Vernon St., Kannapolis, broke into a home at 2525 NC Hwy 153 in China Grove on June 26.
The report said Franklin stole a Nintendo Wii, video games, a DVD player, video camera and several rings. The amount totaled at $1,045.
He was arrested for felony breaking and entering and felony larceny after breaking and entering.
Franklin was given a $5,000 secured bond.
