SALISBURY — East Coast Wings will help a local youth baseball team travel to a regional tournament when people eat at the restaurant Monday evening.
The East Rowan Diamond Sports 10U All Stars Baseball Team placed third Monday in the State Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth Tournament in Matthews, getting them an invitation to the U.S. Southeast Regional Championship in New Bern.
To help pay for the trip, East Coast Wings, 211 Faith Road, will make a donation for each person who comes into the restaurant to eat Monday evening and says they are there to support the team.
