All six in Wetmore Road crash in stable condition

CLEVELAND — The six passengers who were hospitalized after Sunday night’s accident on Wetmore Road are in stable condition.
According to Highway Patrol Trooper Motsinger, a Ford heading south on Wetmore Road overcorrected, crossing the middle line and hitting a Hyundai traveling north.
The driver of the Ford was identified as Eduardo Ramirez, 18, of 1009 Harris Ave., Kannapolis. Ramirez was traveling with Beatriz Mateos, 17, of 4619 Butterwick Lane, Charlotte.
The driver of the Hyundai was Noe Galicia, 21, of Concord. According to the report, Galicia had three other passengers in the vehicle. Elfego Herrera, 35, Sharon Gatica, 25, and Leiri Gatica, 29, were also hospitalized.
Motsinger said Ramirez was airlifted to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and that several other passengers were transported from Rowan Regional Medical Center to Wake Forest by ambulance.
Motsinger said all passengers are in stable condition.
