A Salisbury man was arrested Monday after authorities say he inappropriately touched a 12-year-old girl.
According to a Rowan County Sheriff’s Office report, the girl was with a friend at a home shared with Arkeyo Johnson, 406 Beagle Club Road. The report said on July 8, when the girl’s friend left the house, Johnson reportedly blocked the other girl’s attempts to leave a room in the home and pushed her to the floor. The girl was able to get free and called a family member to pick her up.
Johnson, 32, was charged with felony indecent liberties with children and second-degree kidnapping.
He was given a $25,000 bond.
