The Rowan County Concert Association celebrates its 30th year with the opening of the 2011-12 season on October 15 with “An All Gershwin Revue.”
The Spectrum Brass Quintet will entertain with “Porgy and Bess Suite,” “Rhapsody in Blue,” I Got Rhythm,” “Embraceable You” and of course, “Who Could Ask For Anything More?”.
Also coming this season will be “An Afternoon with Matthew Weaver,” Billy Dean and his guitar, “Huck Finn the Musical” and the Artie Shaw Orchestra.
