SALISBURY ó Whatís your definition of the perfect city manager?
What traits, experience level and qualifications are important to you as Salisbury City Council begins searching for someone to take the helm after the retirement of David Treme, who served for more than 25 years.
Let your opinions be known at 5 p.m. today, when the city hosts a public forum at City Hall, 217 S. Main St. Springsted Inc., the search firm hired to help recruit candidates and narrow the field, will facilitate the meeting.
The city and Springsted also offer an online survey.
ěOur ultimate goal is to receive feedback from every citizen who would like to provide input,î Zack Kyle, Salisbury human resources director, said in a press release.

City Council appreciates valuable input from residents, Mayor Susan Kluttz said.
ěAs we begin the search for a new city manager, citizen participation during the public input session is vital,î she said.
The city will record all feedback during the meeting and use it to support the hiring and recruitment process.
ěBy offering their ideas and views regarding the qualifications necessary for potential candidates, our citizens will be assisting in the selection of our next Salisbury city manager,î Kluttz said.
The online survey is available at www.surveymonkey.com/s/FK73RVH .
