Cooke Wicks Wedding

GOLD HILL — Stacey Dianne Cooke of Salisbury and Henry John Wicks of Livingston, Mont., were united in marriage July 30, 2011, at Gold Hill United Methodist Church.
Pastor Michael Johnston officiated the 7 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at Gold Hill Historic Park.
The bride was escorted by her father, Frank Cooke, and attended by her sister-in-law, April Cooke of Virginia Beach, Va., as matron of honor.
Delbert White of Livingston, Mont., was best man, and ushers included brother of the bride Bryan Cooke of Virginia Beach, Va., and uncle of the bride Alan Simmerson of Columbia, S.C.
Photography was by stepfather of the bride David Mishler of Salisbury.
The bride is the daughter of Cynthia Mishler of Salisbury and Frank Cooke Jr. of Virginia Beach, Va. She is the granddaughter of Eva Eaton and the late Bruce Simmerson of Spencer, Bonnie McDonald of El Paso, Tex., and the late Frank Cooke Sr., of Prescott, Ari. A 2002 graduate of Fairview High School in Boulder, Colo., Stacey received an Associate of Arts from Front Range Community College in Westminster, Colo., in 2005, graduating with highest honors. She is currently pursuing a nursing degree at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.
The groom is the son of Debbie Wicks of Livingston, Mont., and Keith Wicks of Bozeman, Mont., and the grandson of the late Henry and Neva Stricker of Eureka, Mont., and the late Harold and Gretchen Wicks of Anacorda, Mont.  A 2000 graduate of Park High School in Livingston, Mont., Henry graduated with highest honors from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Ga., in 2004 with Bachelor of Science degrees in History, Technology and Society. He is serving in the U.S. Navy.
The couple honeymooned with a cruise to Alaska.
