Rockwell Christianís goal of excellence benefitting students
The educational challenge of the 21st century has motivated Rockwell Christian School, a ministry of Bethel Baptist Church, to uphold its standard of excellence that has earned it quality status.
Using the individualized Bible-based curriculum of Accelerated Christian Education (ACE), the school focuses on Christian character training and outstanding academic accomplishments by its students, and also demonstrates a continuing commitment to state-of-the-art, computer-enhanced education.
This year, the average studentís grade in all subject areas was 93 percent. Many students completed well over one yearís standard academic expectations. Twenty percent of the sixth through 12th-grade students read a minimum of 600 words per minute with 90-100 percent comprehension. Some students are reading as many as 1,300 words per minute with 90-100 percent comprehension.
Rockwell Christian School believes that the schoolís achievement is attributed in part to community commitment to maintain an atmosphere where a school such as Rockwell Christian School can effectively educate our youth today for tomorrowís achievements.
