SALISBURY — Salisbury Police are looking for a man who they say robbed the Circle K convenience store early this morning.
A female employee was cleaning the parking lot of the store, which is located at 1015 E. Innes St., near Blue Bay Seafood, when the man approached her around 3 a.m.
The employee did not see a weapon but was unsure if he actually had one.
The man, who is described as a black male, was wearing a hoodie and jeans and a black bandana covering his face.
No height and weight description was available.
The man made the clerk go back inside the store and remove money from the register, said Capt. Shelia Lingle.
The clerk put the money into a plastic Circle K bag. He left the store, jumped the fence surrounding it and headed toward Interstate 85.
There were no customers or other employees in the store at the time.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-866-639-5245 or the Salisbury Police at 704-638-5333.
