OctoberTour
For 35 years, Salisbury has set aside the second weekend in October for a tour of up to 10 historic sites. The 2011 tour will feature sites dating from 1770-1928 with a mix of private homes, commercial buildings, museum properties, cemeteries and a church.
For those who wish to learn more about historic preservation in Salisbury, the OctoberTour Luncheon will be held at noon Oct. 7 at the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, featuring a lecture by Cynthia Cole Jenkins entitled “Celebrating Historic Preservation in Salisbury: Looking Back, Looking Forward.”
