SALISBURY — A 26-year-old man was arrested Friday night after police say a glass bong fell out of his glove compartment as he looked for his vehicle registration.
According to a Salisbury Police Department report, Joseph Wayne Myers was stopped on North Long Street at about 9 p.m. because of a burned out taillight.
As Myers, 230 Honeysuckle Lane, opened his glove compartment to find his registration, a glass bong rolled out and fell onto the passenger floorboard.
Police then searched Myers, finding two Alprazolam pills, an anti-anxiety medication, and a small bag of crack cocaine, the report said.
Myers was charged with felony possession of cocaine, misdemeanor possession of narcotics and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was in jail Monday under a $3,000 bond.
