Police seize marijuana in Jackson Street raid

SALISBURY — A Salisbury Police narcotics unit raided a North Jackson Street home on Wednesday and found 16 bags of marijuana.
According to arrest reports, Vincent Eugene McNeal, 915 N. Jackson St., was arrested after authorities say they found about 20 grams, or about .71 ounces, of individually packaged marijuana in McNeal’s front left pants pocket at the home.
Investigators said the raid happened at about 11:30 a.m. after weeks of investigation.
The 43-year-old was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was given a $10,000 bond and was in jail on Thursday.
