Following the discussion, Mordant will sign copies of “Why Real Women Drink Straight Tequila — The Tao of Intimacy,” a comedic relationship book he coauthored with Sarina Stone.
Trained under Grandmaster Mantak Chia in Chiang Mai, Thailand, R. Mordant Mahon is a Universal Healing Tao Instructor who teaches Taoist-based Chi Kung and Quantum Manifestation to those who would learn practical application for self-healing and catching their dreams.
Mordant now divides his time between touring internationally (yes, Canada counts) with the comedy troupe known as the Tortuga Twins and inspiring and encouraging others through his Mordant World endeavors to live up to their fullest potential and be their dreams.
White Knight author visits
Visit Literary Bookpost Saturday, Nov. 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. to meet Raiza Denise as she holds her first book signing with her debut young adult novel, “White Knight.”
Fifteen-year-old Abby Richards has had it bad for Nick Adams, literally the boy-next-door who even parents love, since she was 6 years old. Finally, their relationship has gone from best friends to heart-stopping romance. Even though Abby’s parents approve of her relationship with Nick, this is perhaps the reason they decide to let her spend the summer many states away in New York with her aunt. It is when Abby’s parents are driving her to New York that the three are in a horrible car accident. Can Abby and Nick’s relationship survive loss and separation?
Raiza Denise is an avid reader, including young adult authors Suzanne Collins, Ally Condie and Veronica Roth, and fiction authors Julie Garwood and Nicholas Sparks. It is evident when reading “White Knight,” with its humor, love and emotional drama, that these authors have also been an influence on Denise’s writing.
