Davenport 25th Anniversary

Kent Davenport and Leisa Davenport of Rockwell celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Oct. 25, 2011. They were married Oct. 25, 1986, at Rockwell United Methodist Church in Rockwell by the Rev. Bill Barbee.
Kent is employed by Freightliner, and Leisa, a registered nurse, is the Second Shift Nurse Supervisor on the C and D wings at Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks. They have one daughter, Amanda Davenport of Rockwell.
The Davenports’ celebration included a trip to Florida to the beaches at Sanibel Island, Venice Beach, Manasota Beach and Casperson Beach in search of sharks teeth, fossils and seashells. They found 318 sharks teeth; several fossils; and a number of beautiful seashells. Venice, Fla., is known as the shark’s tooth capital of the world.
