Two charged with cocaine, morphine possession

Two Salisbury residents were arrested on drug charges after deputies found marijuana and morphine during a traffic stop near Bringle Ferry Road on Saturday.
According to arrest warrants, Starneshia Nete Harris, 819 Ivy St., and Mario Juane Parks, 410 W. 15th St., were charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of narcotics and felony selling and delivering narcotics.
Deputies said they found 11 individually packaged bags of marijuana in their possession, along with 90 mg. in morphine pills.
They were stopped in the 2700 block of Bringle Ferry Road at about 4:30 p.m.
Parks, 24, was given a $2,500 bond. Harris, 20, was given a $1,000 bond.
They were both in jail Sunday night.
