Dangerous storms could develop

Stormy weather could hit Rowan County later today.
The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook today that says thunderstorms could develop after 3 p.m. The storms could produce damaging winds or an isolated tornado.
The chance of rain is 100 percent overnight, with as much as an inch of rain possible.
A 3-year-old girl and her grandmother were killed when the small house they were in south of Lexington was hit by a tornado about 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 16.
