ENOCHVILLE ó Authorities are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint last week.
The Rowan County Sheriffís Office said the man walked into the Pop Shop at 2023 W. C St. around 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Armed with a semi-automatic pistol, he took the contents of the cash drawer and left the store on foot.
The robber is described as a black man in his 20s, around 6 feet tall and 175 pounds, wearing a UNC blue hooded sweatshirt, jeans, green work gloves and a black-and-white bandana.
Investigators ask anyone with information about the robbery to call the Sheriffís Office at 704-216-8700.
