Nathan Currie, principal at Isenberg Elementary School, has been named assistant superintendent of administration for the Rowan-Salisbury School System, spokeswoman Rita Foil said today.
He replaces Dr. Walter Hart, who resigned in October to take over as superintendent of Hickory Public Schools.
Henry Kluttz, the former Carson High School principal who retired in 2010, has been filling in since Hart’s departure, handling many of duties including student discipline, athletics, transfers and health.
